OLC has assisted the Village of Pawling in planning and obtaining
grant funding for this project, consisting of an off street path
through preserved land and connecting sidewalk, soon to begin
construction.

historic Beekman-Pawling Turnpike.

In the process of developing plans for this park located in the
Village, in cooperation with the Town of Pawling, the land's owner.

200 acres of open space in a new subdivision, permanently protected
with a conservation easement, which preserves portions of The Great
Swamp, rare plants, and a very special mature hemlock grove. Public
trail access will be a feature of this new acquisition.
